Llancloudy Gabriel was purchased at seven months old to become our foundation stallion.  He has matured into a stunning example of The Fell Pony standing at 13.1hh.  Gabe the Babe (as he is known at home) has had an exceptional showing career and is going from strength to strength in the show ring up against some top class ponies and the start of the 2009 season has been no exception.  Show record.

A Stallion with quality, presence and an abundance of mane, tail and feather.  Gabriels conformation is very correct. A nice pony head with a good eye. 10.5" Good quality flinty flat bone. Good length of rein, shoulders set at a good angle, short coupled, wide of foot, short of cannon.  A deep barrelled pony with powerful hindquarters and he can really move.  A stallion with a big future.

Gabriel has a superb nature, kind and very gentle, a very loving boy who loves nothing more that to play 'nanny' to his foals and runs with geldings when he is 'off duty'. He regularly loads and travels with friends horses (both mares and geldings) out hacking and has been described by our vet as a 'big puppy'. We cannot recommend his temperament highly enough.

To date he has 100% fertility and living foals with 3 of his foals being kept entire for future stallion potential, one of which will stand at stud in the United States and two in Australia along with two fillies who are amongst a group of the first and only fell ponies to be exported to Australia.Two of his fillies have been exported to the United States for stud purposes.
